The process involves first applying a liquid carbon paste to the skin. The carbon is absorbed into the most minute depths of the pores and binds itself to oil, bacterial dirt and pollution. Once the carbon has saturated the skin, the qualified and experienced dermatologists will use a specific laser and scan the face with it.
The light from the laser has an immense attraction to the carbon particles; as the beam comes into contact with the carbon, it instantly hits the carbon and causes a controlled ‘micro-explosion’. The explosion vaporizes the carbon and the impurities, blockages and keratin that were trapped inside with it, this leaves an unfeasible deep pore cleansing.
While purification is the primary reason for the Carbon Laser Peel, it also has notable anti-aging properties. The heat from the laser heats the collagen in the dermis and evokes a “clinical healing response”. This brings about a tightening of the skin and a refinement of the texture making it ideal for problems such as enlarged pores, skin pigmentation and fine lines.
