This treatment uses Deoxycholic Acid or Phosphatidylcholine (PPC)—substances that help dissolve fat cell membranes. Deoxycholic Acid is naturally present in the body and plays a role in fat digestion. When injected into localized fat areas, it breaks down fat cells, which are then gradually eliminated through the body’s lymphatic system.
Once these fat cells are destroyed and removed, they do not regenerate, resulting in a more refined and lasting contour.
